Security Service Charitable Foundation donates $2,500 to Meals On Wheels Donation to feed seniors and their pets SAN ANTONIO, TX (January 26, 2021) The Security Service Charitable Foundation is helping Meals on Wheels meet an increased demand during Covid-19 by donating $2,500 to provide meals for low-income seniors and their pets. This donation will provide meals for 300 seniors and food for 240 pets. Each weekday, Meals on Wheels volunteers prepare and deliver meals to more than 3,400 neighbors. Their AniMeals program provides meals for those seniors’ pets, helping them to have healthy companions. “For many of our neighbors, the meals we deliver are their sole source of nutrition,” said Casey Parker, community outreach coordinator for Meals on Wheels. “The Security Services Charitable Foundation donation is helping us greatly as so many people have an increased need for assistance amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.”
