Eta Compute, a developer of technology for energy efficient artificial intelligence processing, has raised $12.5M in a Series C funding. The company says it has now raised $31.9M in total. The funding was led by Synaptics Incorporated, as well as existing investors. As part of the funding, Satish Ganesan, the Chief Strategy Officer at Synaptics, will join Eta s board. Eta Compute is led by CEO Dr. Ted Tewksbury. The company s lead product is the TENSAI AI software platform, which it says is aimed at use in AI applications for the smart home and consumer Internet-of-Things markets.
