DETROIT – A 64-year-old man was shot and injured on Saturday around 11 p.m. by an unknown gunman in the area of East Seven Mile Road and Fenelon Street, Detroit police say.
Police say the victim realized he was shot after getting out of his car in the area. As of Sunday afternoon he was still hospitalized and listed in temporary serious condition.

Detroit Police are investigating three shootings one of which was fatal that happened hours apart and left four people injured, authorities said Wednesday.
A 34-year-old woman allegedly shot multiple times into the vehicle of a 27-year-old man after an argument between the two turned physical Tuesday evening, police said. The incident, which took place at 5:15 p.m. in the 16500 block of Grand River, stemmed from the man allegedly throwing an object and hitting the woman before the shooting, officials said.
The man fled the location in his vehicle and drove himself to a local hospital where he was listed in stable condition, police said.
Suspect wanted in stabbing and robbery of woman inside Detroit laundromat

DETROIT (FOX 2) - Detroit police need the public s help identifying and finding a stabbing suspect who attacked and robbed a woman in a laundromat on Jan. 2.
Investigators have released a photo of the suspect, accused of stabbing a 27-year-old woman at 2:20 a.m. inside the location, in the 12900 block of Seven Mile on the city s east side. The victim is expected to recover.
Photo of suspect courtesy of Detroit police. As she began to back away from him, the suspect produced a knife and stabbed her. The victim fled to a nearby gas station for help. The suspect then took the victim’s purse and also fled the scene. Medics transported the victim to a local hospital where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, DPD said in a release.
