Although a healthy amount of clouds are going to be overhead, this afternoon will be much warmer than average.
Some wet weather is still possible, but Saturday will not be a wash-out. It will be warm and dry tonight. Very warm, again, tomorrow with a better chance of heavier shower and storm activity.
There is a chance of a few mid day and afternoon showers, but many areas will be rain-free. Skies will be mostly cloudy to partly sunny, and it will be hotter than average by a good 10 to 15 degrees. Highs will be in the middle 80s.

Tuesday night will be the coldest night of our forecast with lows in the low-to-mid 30s areawide. Just like the last two nights, the coldest temperatures will be west of US-23 in the West Zone and some inland spots in the North Zone. Temperatures should remain in the mid 30s for the Metro Zone. Then plenty of sunshine gets us to the 60s on Wednesday afternoon. From there we make improvements every day through the weekend, finally reaching above normal by Saturday.

It’s becoming cloudy tonight, and clouds lower and thicken; producing rain by dawn. It will be mild overnight and warmer than average tomorrow. Rain showers remain in the forecast Tuesday through Wednesday morning. Slightly cooler weather arrives afterward.
Moderate drought continues to plague the entire Lower Peninsula. We are not alone, in Southeast Michigan. The Eastern Upper Peninsula is just as parched.
Showers develop and arrive from the south and west, Sunday night, and it will be mild to cool. Rain will be light and scattered, at first, after midnight. The best chance of widespread soaking rain will be at dawn and at breakfast-time, Monday. Overnight lows will be in the 50s and low 60s.
