DENVER A Denver jury found Jose Armenta-Vazquez, 39, guilty of all charges on Monday after being accused of stabbing an Adams County judge who interrupted a burglary at his Denver home in August 2019, according to the Denver s District Attorney s Office (DA).
DNA evidence left on the screwdriver (and other items) used to stab Magistrate Judge David Blackett matched Jose Armenta-Vazquez said the DA.

Colorado vaccine providers will immediately start using the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine now that a federal health advisory committee recommended that a pause on the vaccine should end.
“We are happy to have this highly effective, one-dose vaccine back as an option for Coloradans,” said Dr. Eric France, the state health department’s chief medical officer, in a statement. “We appreciate the caution the CDC and FDA took to evaluate the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and are ready to ramp back up distribution as quickly as possible.”

DENVER â A pair of men accused of killing two people at a Denver bus stop on April 1 have been officially charged with murder.
On Tuesday, Denver District Attorney Beth McCann announced murder charges against Elias Emilo Chavez, 22, and Tlaloc Raul Chavez, 22.
On April 1 around 4 p.m., Denver police responded to a 911 call about a shooting involving a tan SUV at a bus stop near the intersection of Federal Boulevard and Alameda Avenue. When officers arrived at the scene, they found two people â later identified as Tafoya and Lara â who had been shot. They were transported to the Denver Health Medical Center, where they died.
