DENVER One man was killed and another is in critical condition following a shooting Wednesday night in northeast Denver, according to Denver Police (DPD).
DPD said in a tweet that officers were called to investigate a shooting near the intersection of Green Valley Ranch Boulevard and Memphis Street shortly before 8 p.m. That s in Denver s Green Valley Ranch neighborhood and just a few blocks south of Parkfield Lake Park.
One man who was shot was taken to the hospital where he later died, while another victim remained in critical condition, DPD said.

A person who was running from police was hit by a car while crossing the street, according to the Denver Police Department (DPD).
It happened in the 5000 block of North Federal Boulevard, near Regis University s Northwest Denver campus on Thursday.
The person who was hit ran from a stolen car, according to DPD. As officers pursued him, he tried to run across a street and was hit by a car.
DPD said he was seriously injured.
The man who was hit has not been identified at this time.
The BBVA Compass Bank at 800 North Broadway was robbed by two men described as Black males, both armed with handguns and officials need help identifying them.
