Coors Field increasing capacity
DENVER, Colo. (KRDO) Even more fans are going to be allowed in the stands at Coors Field.
Friday, the Colorado Rockies announced the Denver Department of Public Health and Environment approved to increase Coors Field capacity to 70%. Starting June 1, capacity goes from 21,363 to 35,000. This announcement is a great way to kick off the summer and welcome even more fans back to LoDo and Coors Field, said Rockies President Greg Feasel. We want to again thank the City and County of Denver, their health officials, along with MLB for partnering with us to get to this point, as we continue to ensure that we provide a safe and enjoyable environment for our fans.

DENVER, CO Denver will move to Level Clear on Sunday, which will allow businesses to operate at 100 percent capacity, public health officials said. The new level will remain in effect for a three-month observation period.
Denver will align with the new statewide mask requirements face coverings will not be required except in settings such as hospitals, childcare centers, homeless shelters, nursing homes and prisons. Some private businesses such as grocery stores, large retailers and coffee shops may also choose to continue requiring face coverings.
Red Rocks has begun offering COVID-19 vaccine shots to fans attending shows at the Morrison, Colo.-based amphitheater.
Each night, 100 doses will be given on a first-come-first-served basis, and everyone who takes advantage of the offer will be given a shirt marking the venue s 80th year, along with a voucher with discounts on products purchased there. The program began last night at a performance by EDM star Diplo. Upcoming rock shows include Foreigner, the Black Crowes, Bob Weir and Joe Bonamassa.
“The entertainment industry only works when people are able to gather together, and a healthy audience is vitally important at Red Rocks,” a venue spokesperson told 9News in Denver. “We’re making it easy to come to a concert and leave knowing that our fans have protected themselves, their families and their fellow music lovers.”
