MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Funeral arrangements have been finalized for a popular Montgomery veterinarian who died last week.
Taylor Crossing Animal Hospital said a memorial service will be held for Dr. Zeb King Friday at 6 p.m. at The Church of the Highlands, located at 4255 Taylor Road in Montgomery.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - A beloved Montgomery veterinarian and regular guest on WSFA 12 Newsâ Alabama Live! show died last week.
Dr. Zeb King. King, 41, spent his 15-year career as a veterinarian at Taylor Crossing Animal Hospital.
Taylor Crossing Animal Hospital shared news of Kingâs death on its Facebook page. The post shared the sadness of his death not just for his colleagues but for the community.

UNION SPRINGS, Ala. (WSFA) - A woman in Union Springs has made it her mission to make sure that all of the backyard pets in her neighborhood are taken care of.
Jennifer Gallagher, animal outreach volunteer and founder of the nonprofit organization Chick n’ Pups Canine Crusade, has spent 6 years and thousands of dollars of her own money providing better living conditions for outdoor dogs and cats in need of assistance in Bullock County.
