A MAN accused of the vicious stab murder of Edward Meenan in Derry has been granted bail.
Derek William Cresswell (28) is currently in custody at Maghaberry prison after breaching his bail conditions for a second time.
At Belfast Crown Court his defence legal team proposed that he could be released from prison to live with a relative in Co Tyrone well away from Derry .
A Prosecution lawyer said daily reporting to police was required so that we could keep close tabs on the defendant .
