(WVUE) - A Terrebonne Parish school cafeteria employee has been arrested after the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office says she had sexual contact with minors at her home. Sheriff Tim Soignet said that after several weeks into the investigation, detectives arrested 38-year old Dawn Baye of Chauvin for multiple charges of indecent behavior with a juvenile and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. On April 21, the TPSO received a complaint from a concerned parent of one of the juveniles involved.

Houma man accused of sexual battery

Houma man accused of sexual battery Staff Philip Hebert, 27, is charged with sexual battery, the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office said.  The woman told investigators she was at a local bar with a friend Saturday night and Hebert offered to give her a ride home. Because she knew Hebert for several years the woman felt comfortable in his presence, the Sheriff’s Office said.   Instead of driving the woman home, Hebert brought her to a friend’s home to “hang out,”  authorities said. Though no one was at the home Hebert assured the woman that other people were coming.   The woman suffered injuries that were consistent with the struggle she described, the Sheriff’s Office said. Investigators also gathered evidence that was consistent with the information they received. A warrant was issued for Hebert’s arrest.

In a Facebook post, the UCN said ATV’s will still be searching the Holly Beach area Sunday as well as the Texas Coast east towards Louisiana. “The United Cajun Navy would like to thank each and everyone who donated their time and resources to assist in the search for the 7 missing Seacor crewmen. This has been a long and exhausting search effort and UCN did our part to assist in many ways. Our assistance in this case has mainly been in the form of fundraising for search efforts, organizing sea planes, using our social media platforms to get needed resources, gathering supplies and coordinating search effor
