CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas â The Buc Daysâ Illuminated Night Parade will feature floats sponsored by the mayor and CITGO. The company working on their floats is Lone Star Parade Floats in Dallas.
Roby Watts is one of the people working on the floats and said he has been working for Lone Star Parade Floats for about 15 years since it is his familyâs business.
Watts said it takes about a week to do the mock-up drawing of the float with an iPad and get it approved by the customer. Then it takes another two to three days to finish decorating the float.

KINGSVILLE, Texas â Coastal Bend residents feeling a little lucky this weekend joined the fun at the city of Kingsville s 4th annual Festival De La LoterÃa.
The main reason for the event was to raise funds for Keep Kingsville Beautiful to help with restoration projects after the big winter storm we had back in February. The event also provided people with free vaccines for anyone who still needed to get vaccinated.

The Purple Door is a non-profit company, provides free services to local victims and survivors of a family violence and sexual assault.
Their vision is to end domestic violence and sexual assault in the Coastal Bend, and they strive to accomplish this by providing services to victims and their families as well as through our prevention education efforts.
