Karnataka Health and Medical Education Minister Dr K Sudhakar has said that restrictions will be eased in a staggered manner and the Chief Minister will take a final decision on the modalities of unlocking in the state.
Speaking to the media he said, The advice of experts will be conveyed to the CM, and he will take a final decision after discussion with the senior ministers. As per the experts opinion, if the positivity rate is less than 5% and the cases are less than 5,000, restrictions can be lifted, he said.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi undergoing COVID-19 vaccination will go a long way in getting over vaccine hesitancy in the country, said All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi Director Dr Randeep Guleria on Monday.
“PM Modi took the COVID-19 vaccine and showed the nation that we must do the same when our turn comes. It will go a long way in getting over vaccine hesitancy. I request all those over 60 years of age and those above 45 with comorbidities to register soon and get vaccinated,” the AIIMS Director told ANI.
