An RT-PCR testing centre has been set up in the premises of Delhi University’s Hansraj College, principal Rama Sharma said. “The lab is approved by the ICMR AND NABL.
It has been set up by the college in collaboration with JITM Skills Pvt Ltd. The testing centre will be open for everyone,” Sharma told PTI. On May 9, Sharma had written to Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and other authorities offering the college hostel to set up a 100-bed health facility for COVID-19 patients.
The principal had also sought the setting up of a vaccination centre at the college for administering Covishield and Covaxin shots to university staffers.

An RT-PCR testing centre has also been set up at the college. Testing will begin there from today, i.e., May 12, 2021.

NEW DELHI: Former chairman of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) Rahul Khullar passed away early today morning following a prolonged illness.
Khullar, a 1975-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, served as a secretary of the ministry of commerce and trade, and was later appointed as the telecom regulator in May 2012. replacing JS Sarma.
Succeeded by a 1978 batch Jharkhand cadre IAS officer Ram Sewak Sharma in July 2015, Khullar navigated a three-year long tenure at a time when the telecom sector was plagued with uncertainty in the aftermath of the 2G spectrum scam.
