Prison sentence handed out for child sex crime in Dodge County

MANTORVILLE, Minn. – A child sex crime in Dodge County is sending a man to prison.
Daniel Raymond Anderson, 37 of Janesville, MN, was sentenced Wednesday to seven years and eight months behind bars, with credit for 47 days served, to be followed by 99 years of conditional release.
Anderson was charged in April 2020 with three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and three counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct. He was accused of having sexual contact with a victim under the age of 13 and court documents state there was surveillance video of some of the crimes.

Mantorville, MN (KROC-AM News) - A former Dodge Center man today entered a guilty plea in a sex abuse case.
37-year-old Daniel Raymond Anderson of Janesville admitted to a second-degree criminal sexual conduct charge involving sexual contact with a victim under the age of 16. He was originally charged last April with six felony charges, including three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct for sexual abuse that occurred in Dodge Center.
Anderson is scheduled to be sentenced on May 5th He was previously sentenced to five years on probation for a 2015 child pornography conviction in Olmsted County. He was charged in that case after a coworker at a Rochester business discovered child pornography files while using Anderson s work computer while he was on vacation.

Daniel Raymond Anderson, 37 of Janesville, entered a guilty plea Wednesday one count of 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct involving a victim under 16 years old. He was charged in April 2020 with three counts of 1st degree criminal sexual conduct and three counts of 2nd degree criminal sexual conduct.
Authorities accused Anderson of having sexual contact with a victim under the age of 13 in Dodge Center and investigators say there is home surveillance video of some of the crimes.
