TOWN OF MEDINA, Wis. The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office has released the name of the Blanchardville man who died in a crash on Interstate-94 early Wednesday morning.
Officials received a report of the single-vehicle crash at around 1:30 a.m. A news release said the accident happened on I-94 westbound at mile marker 251.4 near the town of Medina.
The victim has been identified as 44-year-old Erik Bredeson. He was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries suffered in the crash, according to preliminary results of a forensic examination.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.

The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office said the victim, 64-year-old Jill Miller, died at the scene of the crash due to injuries she suffered.
An initial investigation revealed Miller tried to make a left turn on the highway when her car was hit by a 54-year-old man’s pickup truck, according to a news release from the Dane County Sheriff’s Office. Officials said the MIller’s car spun into the northbound lane of the highway and was struck once again by an SUV driven by a 19-year-old woman.
The Dane County Sheriff’s Office and the medical examiner’s office are still investigating the crash.

MADISON (WKOW) The Dane County Medical Examiner s Office released the name of a Middleton man killed in a crash on New Year s Day.
Nathan J. Steffenhagen, 47, died from injuries he received in the crash, authorities said in a press release sent Tuesday.
Steffenhagen crashed on South Whitney Way near the intersection with Mineral Point Road.
The crash was reported to authorities around 4 a.m.
Responders took Steffenhagen to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The death remains under investigation by Madison Police Department and the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Authorities identify Barneveld man who died following Highway 18 crash

The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the man as 45-year-old Darren Q. Jones, also known as Anthony DeJesus. Officials said he died from injuries he suffered in the crash.
Police responded to a single-car crash around 6:20 p.m. at Highway 18 and County Trunk Highway PB in Verona on Dec. 16. Jones was transported to a local hospital after the crash where he was pronounced dead the next day.
The Barneveld community is coming together to financially support Jones’ family after he lost his life. Jones, his wife and two young children moved to Barneveld from Arizona in search of a better life this summer.

COTTAGE GROVE (WKOW) The Dane County Sheriff s Office said deputies responding to a death investigation call Monday found two dead bodies inside a town of Sun Prairie home.
The release from Sgt. John Matz said authorities responded to the 4600 block of Pierceville Road Monday afternoon between 3:00 and 3:30 p.m.
About a dozen marked and unmarked vehicles lined a driveway that lead to four residences just off Highway TT. Yellow police tape circled one of the homes.
Across the street, neighbor Jennifer Klang said she was home with her granddaughter after taking the day off from work. She said she was startled by the sound of so many sirens.
