CROSS PLAINS, Wis. The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the passenger who died in a crash in Cross Plains over the weekend.
The incident happened Saturday on Old Military Road near Coyle Lane and was reported to authorities at about 8:20 p.m. Authorities said the driver of an SUV lost control and went off the road, which resulted in a rollover crash.
Officials said Rylee Hetzner , 22, of Madison, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and one other passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The medical examiner’s office completed a forensic examination Monday, with preliminary results confirming Hetzner died of injuries he suffered in the crash.

CROSS PLAINS, Wis. One person is dead and two are injured after a car crash in Cross Plains Saturday.
According to a news release, the driver lost control of the SUV on Old Military Rd. going east, causing the vehicle to go off the road and roll.
One male passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, while two other occupants were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
As of 10:30 p.m., Old Military Rd. was closed to traffic for further investigation into the cause of the crash.
The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the name of the deceased once the family is notified.
Madison man killed in early-morning Fitchburg crash identified

MADISON, Wis. The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office is identifying the man killed in a crash along Highway MM in Fitchburg earlier this week.
25-year-old Omar Miranda Adame of Madison died after being thrown from his car after hitting a utility pole and rolling over between Irish Lane and Haight Farm Road around 4:45 a.m. Monday.
Adame was pronounced dead at the scene. The medical examiner’s office confirmed Thursday he died of injuries sustained in the crash.
