Two motorcyclists have been allegedly clocked at 208km/h in a 60km/h zone in Dandenong.
The pair were detected by State Highway Patrol police on Heatherton Road about 1am on Thursday 13 May.
Police Air Wing tracked one of the motorcycles to a dead-end street in Clyde North.
A 33-year-old Pakenham man was arrested at the scene.
He is expected to appear on summons at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court.

Two men have been charged after a police vehicle was allegedly attacked and damaged at a hoon gathering in Lynbrook.
Police are also seeking public help to identify several people at the “high-risk driving event” at Business Park and Commercial drives about 11pm on Tuesday 11 May.
Cardinia Highway Patrol officers say they observed a 2002 Holden Commodore dropping burnouts next to a group of spectators.
Police tried to intercept the Holden, which allegedly sped off at speed.
Several spectators approached and stood in front of the police car, intentionally blocking its path, police say.
They kicked the police car and ran from the scene.
Transit Crime Investigation Unit detectives arrested the 37-year-old in Dandenong on Friday 14 May.
He has been charged with one count of sexual activity directed at another.
Police say that a female victim was allegedly approached by the man about 12.30am on 3 March.
The man is accused of exposing himself and masturbating in front of the woman before boarding a train.
He was bailed to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 7 July.

Public appeal after high risk driving event in Lynbrook
Officers from the Cardinia Highway Patrol are appealing for public assistance to help identify several people after a police vehicle was damaged during a high risk driving event in Lynbrook last week.
The incident occurred on Business Park Drive and Commercial Drive about 11pm on Tuesday, 11 May.
The highway patrol officers were out patrolling as part of Operation Achilles when they observed a 2002 Holden Commodore allegedly perform burnouts next to a group of onlookers.
Police attempted to intercept the Holden, but the driver allegedly drove off at speed.
A number of onlookers then advanced towards the police car and stood in front of the vehicle, intentionally blocking its path.
