I just love doing it and the social side of it, they’re helping you and much as you’re helping them.” Volunteer manager at mid and south Essex hospitals, Jane O’Connell said: “Our volunteer driver scheme, Carecars, has always been hugely popular with patients who are unable to drive. David Storey, 68, from Prittlewell, has been a Carecars driver since August 2018 and also finds the volunteering very rewarding. He said: I was always brought up to help other people and I’m just continuing to do that.
DesignStudio appoints former Sydney based Mark Liney as global CEO

Branding agency, DesignStudio has appointed former Sydney based APAC partner Mark Liney as new global CEO.
Liney will be responsible for managing the Sydney, London and New York offices of the agency which is behind the branding of clients such as Airbnb and the Premier League.
Regarding his appointment, Liney said: “There’s such an incredible opportunity ahead for DesignStudio. We’re very fortunate to continue to attract ambitious clients who want to do incredible work. And they’re increasingly asking us to develop the tools and systems that will only further its impact, whether that’s embedding it within their organisation or activating across the breadth of the customer experience.”
