U.S. District Court Judge Susan O. Hickey presided over the sentencing hearing in El Dorado.
In July 2019, investigators with the Camden Police Department obtained a search warrant for Seguin s residence in Camden. The search warrant authorized investigators to search the residence for controlled substances and other records indicating ownership and occupancy. Investigators executed the search warrant. When officers entered Seguin s bedroom, he struck an officer and resisted arrest. After being subdued, a search of his bedroom revealed digital scales containing methamphetamine residue, marijuana and three bags of methamphetamine weighing approximately 45 grams.
Seguin was indicted by a federal grand jury in November of 2019, and entered a guilty plea in February 2020.
