ABBOTTABAD: District police officer Zahoor Babar Afridi on Monday suspended a traffic warden, Nadeem, for harassing a couple when the latter demanded to be allowed to move further on the Nathiagali road, which was blocked due to movement of Prime Minister Imran Khan here on July 24.
The Abbottabad police chief has also appointed additional SP Malik Ejaz to probe the case of detention and harassment of the couple in Donga Gali police station
The couple travelling to Nathiagali was detained by Donga Gali police after a brawl with the traffic warden over the blockade of the road. The police had also registered an FIR against the couple.

The Galiyat Snow Festival attracted scores of people, who drove long distances in challenging road conditions to enjoy day-out in snow with funfilled activities.
The Galiyat Development Authority (GDA) on Saturday organised the second day of snow festival in Ayubia, where families and groups of friends from different regions of the country showed up in numbers to enjoy skiing, snowboarding, and other activities like tug-of-war, snowman, and snow race.
Like any other festival, the GDA’s snow fest was also incomplete without local cuisine. People enjoyed local food after whetting their appetites on the snowy slopes.
