Accused Perv Goes to Jail for Punching Woman in the Face
SAN ANGELO, TX – A man accused of sexually assaulting and drugging a child with meth was sent to prison Thursday for punching a woman in the face.
According to court documents, on Apr. 14, Samuel Cerna accepted a plea deal that gave him seven years of prison time.
The original charges against Cerna were sexual assault of a child, possession of a controlled substance, and assault to a family member. The deal that was presented by the District Attorney s Office dropped the possession and sexual assault charges in exchange for a guilty plea for assaulting a family member.
Woman Threatens Her Husband with a Gun and a Knife During a Fight
SAN ANGELO, TX – A Wall woman was arrested Wednesday after deputies say she attempted to stab and shoot her husband.
According to court documents, on May 5, a deputy with the Tom Green County Sheriff s Office was on a normal patrol when he got a call for a welfare concern at the 4500 block of US Highway 87.
The caller told dispatch that Kandra Fuchs, 38, had been assaulted by her husband. When the deputy arrived he spoke with the two and learned that they had been arguing.
During the argument Mrs. Fuchs punched her husband in the face and then brandished a firearm and a knife. While she had the weapons she pointed them at Mr. Fuchs and said that she would kill him.
Teen High on the Reefer Indicted for Multiple Crimes
SAN ANGELO, TX – An 18-year-old frequent flyer has been indicted for multiple crimes including a shooting that happened in Oct. 2020.
According to court documents, on Oct. 18, officers with the San Angelo Police Department were dispatched to the 2800 block of Pecan St. for the report of shots fired.
When the officers arrived on scene they discovered a large party at one of the houses on Pecan. When they spoke with people in the house they learned that a group of people got into an altercation. During the fight several people pulled guns and fired them. During the shootout at least one man was shot.
Habitual Drunk Driver Nearly Kills Man After Running Him Off the Road
SAN ANGELO, TX – A habitual drunk driver was indicted in April for running a person off the road and into a metal fence.
According to court documents, on Feb. 2, officers with the San Angelo Police Department were dispatched to the 5000 block of N. Bryant Blvd. for the report of a major crash involving a truck, a vehicle that fled the scene and a fence.
When officers arrived they discovered a 1999 4-door Chevy that had crashed into a business s metal pipe fencing. The pipe had gone through the front windshield and out the back passenger window.
Man High on Reefer Arrested for Molesting Teen
SAN ANGELO, TX – A San Angelo man was arrested Wednesday for sexually assault of a child and possession of marijuana.
According to court documents, on Apr. 26, an officer with the San Angel Police Department received a a report from Child Protective Services that alleged a 15-year-old child was in a relationship with Michale Andros, 20, of San Angelo.
The officer spoke with the child who told the officer that the two had sex on Mar. 15.
Andros was then questioned and he admitting to sexually assaulting the child.
Andros was booked into the Tom Green County Detention Facility and was charged with sexual assault of a child, possession of marijuana, failure to stop and leaving information, no driver s license, running a stop sign, and possession of a tobacco by someone under 21.
