A DRIVER speaking on the phone whilst transporting livestock was just one of many driving offences committed on Dorset roads yesterday. Dorset Police s No Excuse team were on the A30 and the A31 yesterday, on the lookout for rogue drivers. On the A30 they stopped a driver who was transporting livestock, along with his son, whilst talking on the phone. They also recorded a number of speeding offences. On the A31, officers stopped a motorbike rider who had bolted their non-conforming number plate to the under tray of the bike. A spokesman for the Dorset Police No Excuse Team said: Yesterday we were tasked to the primary routes, so we spent our time on the A30 and A31.
