Kiwanis Club of Lima to hear amphitheater project update
LIMA The Kiwanis Club of Lima will meet at noon Tuesday, March 9 via Zoom.
Tracie Sanchez, past president of the Lima Rotary Club, will give an update on the Rotary Amphitheater project in downtown Lima.

Officers elected to NFIB Leadership Council for Ohio
The officers include:
• Albert Macre, of Albert F. Macre & Co. (Steubenville), vice chair;
• Kelly Moore, of GKM Auto Parts (Zanesville), chair of the NFIB Ohio PAC, the organization’s political action committee, and;
• Ty Baker-Baumann, of REBSCO, Inc. (Greenville), the immediate past chair of the council.
Currently, the Ohio Leadership Council is comprised of 38 independent business owners from across Ohio who meet quarterly to guide the organization’s statewide activities. The role of the council is to offer input to the organization’s advocacy program while assisting in efforts to bring small-business issues to the attention of state and federal elected officials.
Lima amphitheater expected to be ready by November

LIMA The Greater Lima Region Amphitheater and Park is on track to start and finish construction by the end of 2021, according to the Lima Rotary Club.
“The architectural and engineering plans are being completed now and should be finished by the end of February,” Amphitheater Committee Co-Chair Tracie Sanchez said in a press release. “We plan to go out to bid to select our contractor as soon as the architectural drawings are complete. We are very excited to announce that construction should begin this spring or summer.”
