NEDERLAND, Texas The parents of two twin boys are thanking the Southeast Texas community for their outpour of support and prayers as their boys continue on the journey to recovery.
Parents Haley and Hayden Burden teamed up with the Southeast Texas Circle of Hope for a benefit at Nederland’s First Baptist Church on Saturday to help with medical expenses for their twins.

NEDERLAND, Texas A Nederland teen is in the fight of his life, battling a rare brain cancer and his family says getting him the care he needs is going to take the help of the whole community.
It started with numbness near Hunter Bartz mouth and lips, and quickly continued to spread throughout his body.

Energy Transfer has donated $75,000 to Golden Triangle Empowerment Center (GTEC) to assist in job training and placement services for underrepresented communities.
The donation from the Dallas-based midstream company will enable GTEC to purchase new equipment to help the nonprofit organization transition its curriculum into a virtual learning environment.
GTEC was founded in 2007 and has trained more than 1,500 students with a 70% job placement rate.
