Parents Haley and Hayden Burden teamed up with the Southeast Texas Circle of Hope for a benefit at Nederland’s First Baptist Church on Saturday to help with medical expenses for their twins.

People in Business: Donations help variety of local aid efforts Dec. 20, 2020 FacebookTwitterEmail Neches Federal Credit Union raised $8,766 for the Christus Southeast Texas Foundation as a part of the Children s Miracle Network Hospital program.Courtesy Neches Credit Union   Energy Transfer has donated $75,000 to Golden Triangle Empowerment Center (GTEC) to assist in job training and placement services for underrepresented communities. The donation from the Dallas-based midstream company will enable GTEC to purchase new equipment to help the nonprofit organization transition its curriculum into a virtual learning environment. GTEC was founded in 2007 and has trained more than 1,500 students with a 70% job placement rate.
