VIGO CO., Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) Vigo County schools plan to return to in-person learning on Jan. 4.
This is after schools have been remote learning since Nov.
Director of Communications for the Vigo County School corporation, Bill Riley, said this decision to return to in-person.
Staff availability was the biggest concern when the schools went remote last month.
The school corporation has someone stationed at the local health department to track the new numbers as they are released. Riley said they run every positive covid-19 case through a database to see if they are affiliated with the schools.
