Hospital Admits Two Manitoba COVID-19 Patients

(Staff photo) The Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre has admitted a pair of COVID-19 patients from Manitoba. Acadia News has confirmed with both local officials and Shared Health Manitoba that the patients, who are both in stable condition, were transferred to the hospital on Tuesday. “TBRHSC has received a total of two patient transfers from Manitoba to assist them with their capacity issues,” stated Marcello Bernardo, Acting Manager of Communications & Engagement. “These transfers have had no impact on the service provided to regional patients. Given that our COVID+ numbers have reduced substantially, we cannot provide any further detail without breaching protected health information.”
