SIOUXLAND (KTIV) - Some Siouxland school districts say there is still a need for substitute teachers. We never have enough substitute teachers on hand, said Director of Human Resources Jill Gill of the South Sioux City Community School District. There is a demand for substitute teachers every year, and this year is not unlike any of those, we definitely have a need for substitute teachers, said Director of Communications Mandie Mayo of the Sioux City Community School District.
