if you aren t familiar with the brand, they are originally based out of San Marcos, Texas and started life out as Golden Fried Chicken in 1967. By the 1970s they were the second major chicken outlet in Texas to franchise out of state (Church s was the first) They shortened the name of the chain to Golden Chick in the 1990 s. They re known for their Golden Tenders but bone in chicken is certainly on the menu too not only fried but grilled too which is something that a few of the other options here in town don t offer
