Birmingham city leaders still planning for a springtime Magic City Classic

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - Birmingham officials are looking to bring sports back to the city this year.
Southwestern Athletic Conference Commissioner, Dr. Charles McClelland, said they are still planning for the Magic City Classic this spring, but he said it won’t be a COVID-19 hotspot.
Dr. David Hicks with the Jefferson County Health Department said officials are working with the health department to establish safety guidelines and rules for inside the stadium and outside the stadium.
