WHEELING A steady stream of locals age 80 and older came to the Wheeling-Ohio County Health Department throughout Wednesday, receiving their doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.
While clinics are scheduled to be held through next Thursday, Health Administrator Howard Gamble said Wednesday’s clinic had been progressing smoothly, with fewer than 10 people lingering in the halls of the City-County Building at any one time between appointments.
“Pretty busy, a bit of a different population, but it’s the same getting individuals in, getting them registered, getting them vaccinated,” Gamble said. “Today went well, still going.”
