A man wanted in connection with a South Carolina shooting was arrested Tuesday in the San Antonio area, officials said.
Tyrese Deshawnd Lighty, 22, was arrested in Live Oak by members of the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force on eight outstanding warrants involving first degree murder, attempted murder and aggravated assault.

SAN ANTONIO – A Northeast Side strip club general manager, who is also the son of the Elmendorf police chief, was arrested for his alleged role in a brutal beating caught on camera outside of the club.
Jonathan Pena, 27, was taken into custody Thursday, roughly three weeks after the assault occurred. Pena was taken into custody near Loop 1604 and Culebra by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force. He is charged with aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury.

TEXAS, USA The U.S. Marshals intensified their search for a convicted murderer who escaped from a Texas prison in 2010.
Jose Bustos-Diaz, 32, has landed on the Marshals’ 15 Most Wanted fugitives list, and authorities are asking the public for information that could lead to his arrest.
“Jose Bustos-Diaz poses a significant threat to the public as a fugitive who was convicted for murder and sentenced to 35 years in prison in a court of law,” said U.S. Marshals Service Director Donald Washington. “We added Bustos-Diaz to our 15 Most Wanted fugitive list because locating and apprehending this violent escapee is a top priority, and we will use every available resource to bring him to justice.”
A man was arrested in Harker Heights Monday for suspected sexual assault of a child and indecency with a child including sexual contact.
Victor Manuel Rivera, 43, was taken into custody by the Harker Heights Police Department and Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in the 2900 block of Stillhouse Lake Road Monday, according to a news release from the police department.
On Tuesday, Rivera was charged with indecency with a child, sexual contact and sexual assault of a child under the age of 17, according to the release.
Rivera was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke with a bond set at $75,000 for each charge totaling $150,000. He is currently being transported to the Bell County Jail.
