Permit To Carry Classes Full In The St Cloud Area As State Sets New Record of Carriers

Unsplash (KNSI) – Permit to carry classes in the St. Cloud area have been filled for almost a year straight, and there’s no sign of slowing down. Tactical Advantage in Waite Park co-owner Jason Falconer says they’ve seen a surge in intreats. “Our permit to carry classes have been booked and filled since March 2020. It’s been a crazy year for training.” Falconer believes two major events in 2020 led to the explosion in people taking permit to carry classes. “Just from talking to customers, the two-week lockdown got people nervous. They started thinking about their own personal safety, wondering, you know how long this might take and home. You know what other restrictions there might be. So we had a lot of new shooters in March. And obviously then with the civil unrest this summer, just kind of kept things going.”
