(Gettysburg)  The Adams County Republican Committee of Pennsylvania released a statement Sunday saying it condemns, in the strongest terms, the actions of Senator Pat Toomey for his failure to defend the Constitution and the freedoms it guarantees. The censure follows Toomey s decision to vote to convict former President Trump related to January s violent attack on the US Capitol. The Chairman of the Adams County Republican Committee of Pennsylvania will submit copies of this resolution to Senator Pat Toomey, the Pennsylvania Republican State Committee, Senator Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, and Republican Members of the Pennsylvania Congressional delegation.

Alamance County faces charges in deadly accidental shooting

Updated: 10:19 PM EST Feb 8, 2021 WXII12.com Web Staff On Monday, the Alamance County Sheriff s Office said a juvenile will face charges in connection to a deadly shooting. Deputies responded to Altamahaw Church Street in Elon around 7:30 p.m. Saturday in reference to a person with a gunshot wound.They Identified the victim as 19-year-old Colby Dillon Bradley. He died at the scene.After a preliminary investigation, it was determined that a 15-year-old unintentionally discharged a Mosin-Nagant 7.62x54R bolt-action rifle that belonged to the victim.Witnesses told investigators the juvenile was examining the rifle and believed the weapon was clear. The victim then entered the room and grabbed the rifle. When the juvenile attempted to pull the rifle away, the trigger was pressed which discharged the weapon.According to the District Attorney, the juvenile will be charged with Involuntary Manslaughter.
