The defending national champions are reloading their roster. Arizona Wildcat’s junior guard James Akinjo is headed to the Baylor Bears. This news comes after the guard decided to transfer out of the program following the firing of Head Coach Sean Miller. This will be Akinjo’s third school following the drama he decided to leave behind at the Georgetown Hoya’s program. He was a highly sought-after transfer during both of the periods he spent in the Transfer Portal.

The Arizona Wildcats have officially hired longtime Gonzaga assistant head coach Tommy Lloyd as their new Head Coach. This move comes after the Arizona program decided to move on from former Head Coach Sean Miller. Lloyd has been a part of some of Gonzaga’s best rosters and helped bring in a handful of five-star recruits lately. The Bulldogs just came off a phenomenal season where they fell just short in the National Championship game.

After a 21-9 victory over the Chicago Bears in the Wild Card round, the 13-4 New Orleans Saints will play in the 23rd postseason game in their franchise history when they host the 12-5 Tampa Bay Buccaneers this Sunday in the Divisional Playoffs. This is the 8th time the Saints have played a divisional playoff game out of their 14 trips to the postseason.
New Orleans has a 3-4 record in the Divisional Round, and a 3-3 mark under Head Coach Sean Payton. The Saints have hosted a Division playoff game three times, all under Payton, and have a 3-0 record in those contests.
