PHOTO: Express News/Muhammad Zafar QUETTA: At least 16 people were injured in a blast in Sibbi, Balochistan on Friday, with initial reports suggesting that the incident occurred soon after a rally held in the city in solidarity with Occupied Kashmir. The explosives were reportedly planted on a motorcycle. According to police, personnel of the law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the area and started a search operation.

Grenade blast in Pakistan s Balochistan province leaves 16 injured © Provided by Zee News Quetta: At least 16 people, including two children, were injured when unknown miscreants lobbed a hand grenade at a busy market area in Pakistan s restive Balochistan province on Friday (February 5), according to media reports. The blast occurred at Luni Chowk in Sibbi town, Dawn News reported. Sibi Station House Officer Wazir Khan Marri said that unidentified men on a motorbike threw the grenade at the chowk, resulting in injuries to 16 people, including two minors. He said the injured were sent to Sibi Civil Hospital. Four of the injured are said to be in critical condition.
