At least 16 people were injured in a blast in Sibbi, Balochistan on Friday, with initial reports suggesting that the incident occurred soon after a rally held in the city in solidarity with Occupied Kashmir.
The explosives were reportedly planted on a motorcycle. According to police, personnel of the law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the area and started a search operation.

The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan governments initiated the coronavirus inoculation programmes under the leadership of their respective chief ministers on Wednesday.
Frontline health workers in both the provinces were the first ones to get the Covid-19 shots.

The vaccination process for health workers started in the province on Wednesday as a formal inauguration ceremony was held here at Naseerullah Babar Memorial Hospital.
In connection with the countrywide drive to inoculate the frontline healthcare workers against COVID-19, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan has formally launched the vaccination drive in the province.

Vaccination drives against the novel coronavirus started simultaneously in all federating units of the country on Wednesday, a day after 500,000 doses of the vaccine arrived in Islamabad as a gift from China.
As per the government s vaccination strategy, health workers were the first to receive the vaccine.
Simultaneous inauguration ceremonies, held in major cities of all provinces as well as in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan, were attended by the respective chief executives and other high ranking officials.
