Streets in Garston remained sealed off this morning, nearly 24 hours after shots were fired in the area.
Today part of York Street was also cordoned off.

Yesterday, armed police were scrambled to Chesterton Street.
There are no reported injuries at this time.
Detective Chief Inspector Matt Smith yesterday slammed the thugs behind the reckless shots fired.

Armed police were scrambled to a Liverpool street following a lunchtime shooting.
Patrols were sent to Garston after Merseyside Police received reports that shots had been fired at 1.45pm.
Officers swarmed Chesterton Street, where evidence of a shooting was discovered.
There are no reported injuries at this time.
Chesterton Street was cordoned off by police while witness, CCTV and forensic enquiries are carried out.

A suspected gunman has been released under investigation after a boy was shot in the street in broad daylight.
On Monday, April 26, officers received reports 16-year-old boy was injured in a shooting on Oaklee Grove in Kirkby, at about 5.40pm.
It s believed the victim was shot in the leg after he was approached by two men - one on the back of a scrambler bike and the other on a motorbike.
St Helens man arrested in connection with 16-year-old boy being shot in Kirkby A 25-YEAR-OLD man from St Helens has been arrested in connection with the shooting of a 16-year-old boy in Kirkby. The teenager was reportedly shot at around 5.40pm on Monday, April 26 after being approached by two males on Oaklee Grove - one on a scrambler bike, and one on a motorbike. He suffered an injury to the back of his leg and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The victim remains in hospital and is in a stable condition. A 25-year-old man from St Helens was arrested on suspicion of Section 18 assault and possession of a firearm yesterday, Wednesday, April 28.
