The 43-year-old Coomera man was charged over the incident at the Gold Coast on Sunday, when petrol was allegedly poured throughout a home on O’Reilly Drive, forcing police to declare an emergency. Loading Acting Chief Superintendent Geoff Sheldon said the accused doused himself and the house in petrol, while his partner and two adult children, and one of their girlfriends, were in the house.
