Local lockdowns “can’t be ruled out” if case numbers spike, a Government Minister has warned.
Minister of State Pippa Hackett said a return to lockdown measures is possible amid concerns of spiralling case numbers in Donegal.

THE first Johnson and Johnson Covid-19 jabs administered here will contribute to the “best week ever” in Ireland’s vaccine rollout, HSE chief Paul Reid said.
And it’s projected that the over 35s will begin to get their first dose vaccinations underway in June.

Passengers from Costa Rica, Georgia, Iran and Mongolia will also be required to enter quarantine in a designated hotel from 4am on May 4.
The decision to add to the list of designated States was approved at a Government meeting earlier this week.
