A FURTHER 545 cases of Covid-19 have been reported in Ireland, public health officials have said.
The National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) this afternoon also confirmed that four more people with Covid-19 have died.
This now brings the total Covid-19 death toll to 4,903 and the total number of confirmed cases to 248,870.

These figures include the denotification of one confirmed case.
Of the cases notified today:
294 are men / 244 are women
77% are under 45 years of age
The median age is 29 years old
There are 264 cases in Dublin, 58 in Kildare, 50 in Cork, 29 in Donegal and 28 in Galway.
The remaining 116 cases are spread across 21 other counties.
As of 8.00am today, 139 COVID-19 patients are hospitalised - of which 44 are in ICU.
There have been eight additional hospitalisations in the past 24 hours.
As of April 28th, 1,487,043 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered: 1,067,378 first doses and 419,665 second doses.

PUBLIC HEALTH OFFICIALS today reported a further 545 new cases of Covid-19 in Ireland, with four additional deaths.
The total number of Covid-19 cases now stands at 248,870. The number of people who have died has reached 4,903.

HEALTH OFFICIALS HAVE confirmed that a further 15 people have died with Covid-19 in Ireland, with 401 new cases reported.
Of the deaths notified today, two in April, three in March, six in February, and four in January or earlier. The median age of those who died was 82 years, and the age range was 56-90 years.
According to the latest figures from the National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET), the total number of Covid-19 cases since the outbreak of the virus here last year now stands at 244,695 .
