On the first day of class, RAA Middle School students will see a big, new mural on their school s front wall. The project was made possible by the current Leadership Tallahassee Class, sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce.
The artists for the giant image, showing RAA s many educational offerings, was Sarah Painter and Cosby Hayes. It really has been an honor and special experience to bring the campus to life and to have the kids come out and help paint was really special, said Painter. Maybe we can do more at all the other schools in the county, quipped Hayes.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) â Students at Augusta Raa Middle School will have some inspiration to look forward to this coming school year.
The project was dedicated by the members of Leadership Tallahassee Class 37 on Thursday, which includes RAA principal Marcus Scott. Weâre excited for this school year, said Scott. Weâre excited to get them back. When they see this mural I hope theyâre reminded that theyâre Ram tough, that theyâre RAA. Theyâre here to express themselves in artistic ways, academic ways and athletic ways.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) â Thanks to the most recent Leadership Tallahassee Class, Sabal Palm Elementary officially cut the ribbon on a new Outdoor classroom Tuesday.
The project took two years, more than $25,000, and 465 volunteer-hours to complete.
The previously bare area of the school is now outfitted with covered seating, an outdoor garden and more. Principal Anicia Robinson says the new classroom will help enrich student learning.
