A lottery has already been held for kindergarten students wishing to get into the Two-Way Immersion program at Bijou Elementary and at the Lake Tahoe Environmental Science Magnet School.
To be eligible for Kindergarten enrollment a child must be five years of age on or before September 1, 2021. If the child turns five years of age between September 1, 2021 and December 2, 2021, they qualify for Transitional Kindergarten (TK); a two-year Kindergarten program located at Tahoe Valley Elementary School.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - There will be three new principals at Lake Tahoe Unified School District (LTUSD) this fall as well as leaders in four newly created positions at the district office and the digital learning academy.
