Seahawks Pluck Another Coach From Rival Rams
The Seattle Seahawks continued the makeover of their coaching staff by pilfering yet another member of their NFC West rival Los Angeles Rams cupboard as they announced the hiring of Andy Dickerson.
Dickerson was named Seattle s run-game coordinator. He will join the Hawks along with Shane Waldron who was named the Hawks new Offensive Coordinator replacing the recently departed Brian Schottenheimer at that position.
Dickerson has spent the last nine seasons with the Rams as their Assistant Offensive Line Coach. Previously, he has been employed by the New York Jets, Cleveland Browns and New England Patriots in varying capacities.
Some of the coaches who made the cut landed new gigs. HOWEVER … there is a whole mess of candidates who remain with in their current positions after not signing on with new teams. And since I take to to heart the time a friend told me I’m the most optimistic person they’ve ever met, I’d like to travel that road. How? By offering up the potential candidates who could pique the Bears’ interest should they decide to move on from GM Ryan Pace and Head Coach Matt Nagy after the 2021 season.

You have questions, I have answers.
Good Morning!
Damn, you all knocked it out of the park again, hello baseball reference. I did comb Twitter looking for #DailyNorsemanmailbag before hitting the publish button but all I could find was something about a Robin Hood movie or something, maybe the “magic” of Twitter will work next time. For salary cap questions I bought a book to read and leaned on two guest experts plus overthecap.com. Enough from me, let’s see what was on everyone’s mind.
First up, Mary had this to say via email:
The search for the Seahawks next offensive coordinator doesn t appear anywhere closer to a conclusion. Add two more candidates to the growing list as Ken Dorsey and Shane Waldron have now been linked to the team.
