The Falcon and The Winter Soldier nailed Sam Wilson s Captain America costume, though we learned in the Assembled Making of special that issues with the cowl meant visual effects were needed to make it look perfect on screen. Regardless, as badass as Cap s Wakandan costume was, it very nearly boasted a few extra features.Â
Captain America: Anthony Mackie Explains Difference Between His and Chris Evans Take on Character
✖
Anthony Mackie broke down the differences between his Captain America and Chris Evans’ time with the shield. The new Cap sat down with Entertainment Tonight to talk about his journey through the MCU and the topic of his friend came up. Steve Rogers is a different hero than Sam Wilson.
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier showed off why. Mackie’s character tried to reason with people at almost every turn before having to fight them. Rogers was also geared towards talking, but the final act of the Disney+ series showed just how much the new Captain America valued a talking solution. For the actor, he loves Evans’ time with the franchise. But, there are some strict differences in power levels here too. (He makes mention of Wilson being the only non-powered Avenger, but we’ll let him slide on Black Widow and Hawkeye being pretty normal…) Check out what he had to say down belo
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Writer Malcolm Spellman Says That Final Title Reveal Wrecked Him
In the closing moments of
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Marvel Studios opted to rebrand the entire show. Twice during the finale s closing credits, the episode featured a new title card calling the series
Captain America and the Winter Soldier, a name handed down by the powers behind the curtain at the studio. When
Falcon and Winter Soldier showrunner Malcolm Spellman found out what Kevin Feige and his team planned on doing, the writer says the title card wrecked him.
Speaking with
Inverse, Spellman says he wasn t aware of the title card change until he was watching one of the cuts of the finale. Neither he nor his writing staff wrote the moment into the script, so it was especially impactful when the crew began to find out.

“I’m myself, for better or worse. I’m still who I was when I got here, actor Carl Lumbly told HuffPost of his 40 years in Hollywood.
There are three small words that have kept Carl Lumbly going all these years.
Every Wednesday, he’d call home to speak with his mother, who’d never finish a conversation without this goodbye: “Keep sweet, Carly.”
