Agartala, March 3 : After neighbouring Assam, the relation between the ruling BJP and its junior ally Indigenous People s Front of Tripura (IPFT) turned bitter ahead of the April 4 elections to the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC), which is considered as the mini-state Assembly in terms of political significance.
Both the BJP and the IPFT are yet to finalise their seat-sharing in the 28-member TTAADC and even the leaders of the two parties are acusing each other on the issue.
The much-awaited elections to the TTAADC will be held on April 4 and the statutory notifications would be issued on Thursday.
