According to data released by the Health Department, a total of 154 health workers got vaccinated with the Covishield vaccine on the first day and all of them got a provisional certificate for the vaccination (1st dose). The vaccine was administered in three centres in Ranipet, three in Cheyyar, five in Tirupathur, four in Vellore and six in Tiruvannamalai district respectively. The vaccination programme began at 11.30 a.m in the districts.
