Former MLA B Raghavan passes away at 69 in Kerala Raghavan was admitted to the Medical College hospital, Parippally, along with his family members two weeks ago after they were infected by coronavirus. Share Via Email   |  A+A A- By Express News Service KOLLAM: CPM leader and former representative of the Neduvathoor constituency in the Kerala Legislative Assembly B Raghavan passed away at the age of 69 on Tuesday.  The leader was undergoing treatment at the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital after he tested positive for coronavirus.  Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan condoled Raghavan s demise. Raghavan was admitted to the Medical College hospital, Parippally, along with his family members two weeks ago after they were infected by the virus.

While 333 people recovered from the disease, the number of active cases stood at 3,688. While most of the fresh cases have been attributed to local contact, four health workers have also tested positive. The administration placed 1,409 people under quarantine, taking the number of people being supervised for COVID-19 symptoms to 20,518 in houses and 55 in various institutions. As many as 1,107 people have been excluded from the quarantine list.
