Hillsboro s Festival of the Bells has again been cancelled for this year due to health concerns.
The Festival of the Bells Committee, the City of Hillsboro and the Highland County Health Department have determined the need to cancel the event, saying it is currently too difficult to provide a safe event for the community, guests, artists and vendors. They say the potential for a large crowd in a confined area is a health concern.
Efforts will now focus on a strong comeback for the 2022 Festival of the Bells.
