The new take on
Mortal Kombat will arrive in American cinemas this Friday, as well as streaming service HBO Max (currently unavailable in Ireland), and to celebrate its impending release, Warner Bros. has revealed the first seven minutes of the movie.
Anyone concerned that this new take would be as bloodless as the 1995 adaptation will have their worries quickly quietened, as the blood, gore and guts run freely in this opening scene.
In short, don t watch this if you re of a sensitive disposition! The scene does show off two major characters, who will both be immediately recognisable to anyone who has played any of the games.
