PEZA adapts automated systems and processes to enhance the ease of doing business in economic zones

The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) today announced that it has signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with online payment gateway provider I-PAY MYEG PH (IPMPI) as the agency automates its systems and processes for easier locator transactions at its various economic zones in the country. PEZA Director General Charito “Ching” Plaza and I-PAY MYEG PH (IPMPI) Chief Executive Officer Ann Margaret Saldana signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on February 18, 2021. Phase 1 of PH business registration portal goes live Share on email Government agencies led by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) formally launched on Thursday, Jan. 28, the first phase of the Central Business Portal. The project proponents said the CBP is being developed and deployed in phases, with the initial phase centered on an online, unified business application process. Upon completion, the CBP will be a one-stop-shop for all business-related transactions such as securing business permits, licenses, and clearances. The creation of the CBP is mandated by Republic Act (R.A.) No. 11032, or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Services Delivery Act of 2018. The law aims to eliminate red tape, graft and corruption, promote transparency, and sustain ease-of-doing business.

A Safer and More Convenient Way to Pay for Civil Registry Documents

Published January 7, 2021, 6:40 PM Filipinos looking to secure civil registry documents from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) can now pay conveniently for their transactions as digital financial services leader, PayMaya, equips the agency with QR payments.   Beginning at the Civil Registration System (CRS) Central Outlet at East Avenue, Quezon City, PSA is now offering PayMaya QR as a safe and contactless payment method for its clients to secure civil registry documents such as birth, death, and marriage certificates, among others.   PayMaya is helping the Philippine Statistics Authority offer a safer and more convenient way to pay for civil registry documents at his head office in Quezon City through PayMaya QR, which allows Filipinos to simply scan a QR code at the counter to pay for PSA fees.
