A month ago, the county s positivity rate for unique individuals the percentage of people who test positive, regardless of how many times a single person has been tested was below 4%.
The seven-day positivity rate for unique individuals in Tippecanoe County had been 12.2% Saturday, according to data on the ISDH coronavirus dashboard.
The overall positivity rate, which had remained at 4.3% since last Thursday, inched up to 4.5% Tuesday. That rate of positive cases had been as low as 1.8% earlier this month.
Since then, Tippecanoe County has seen a steady increase in positivity rates.
On Monday, that rate increased again, according to the Indiana State Department of Health, up from 12.8% Sunday to 13.2%.
